An innovative and unique science program where students build on problem solving skills by working out ways to combine simple machines to construct a successfully functioning mousetrap design. Student will have fun as they learn and help demonstrate the workings of the five essential simple machines: the Lever, the Wheel, the Pulley, the Inclined Plane and the Screw. Wonderful Water starts off with everyone participating as we ask questions, make predictions and experiment to test our guesses. Students learn about solids, liquids and gases, the water cycle and everyday things they can do to protect the Earth. Seeing experiments that have a big wow factor and can be done at home ensure they’ll keep learning long after the program is over. (Presented by Crystal Clear Science)

This engaging program introduces children to numbers, data and charts and inspires them to continue to explore graphing, helping them build lifelong problem-solving skills! This high energy program brings the principles of weight, density, and buoyancy to life as students discover how warming air makes a balloon rise and cooling air brings it gently back down. They’ll explore how weather, wind patterns, and air pressure shape every flight, as well as cover more basic states of matter. With hands-on demonstrations and the thrill of seeing professional balloon equipment up close, this program turns abstract concepts into a sky-high adventure your students will never forget!

Students will use the Scientific Method to levitate one of their teachers in mid-air and even learn how the science of reflection can make their homework magically disappear! The Science of Magic is designed to excite, educate, intrigue and promote students to think “outside the box” and spawn their curiosity about how science and the Scientific Method can be used to create the impossible!
